Credit rating withdrawal rationale

The withdrawal of the credit rating of the 001Р-SBER14 series (RU000A1012R9) bond issued by Sberbank is due to the full redemption of this bond issue on November 19, 2021. Before the withdrawal, the credit rating of the bond issue was affirmed at AAA(RU), i.e. on par with the credit rating of Sberbank. The rating has been withdrawn without its concurrent affirmation.

Regulatory disclosure

The credit rating was previously assigned to the 001Р-SBER14 series (RU000A1012R9) bond issued by Sberbank under the national scale for the Russian Federation based on the Methodology for Assigning Credit Ratings to Individual Issues of Financial Instruments on the National Scale for the Russian Federation and the Key Concepts Used by the Analytical Credit Rating Agency within the Scope of Its Rating Activities.

The credit rating of the 001Р-SBER14 series (RU000A1012R9) bond was published by ACRA for the first time on November 22, 2019.

The credit rating was assigned based on data provided by Sberbank, information from publicly available sources, and ACRA’s own databases. The credit rating is solicited, and Sberbank participated in its assignment.

In assigning the credit rating, ACRA used only information, the quality and reliability of which was, in ACRA’s opinion, appropriate and sufficient to apply the methodologies.

ACRA provided additional services to Sberbank. No conflicts of interest were discovered in the course of credit rating assignment.
