Credit rating rationale. The issue is a senior unsecured debt obligation of OOO Gorodskoy Supermarket (hereinafter, the Company, or the Issuer), which is wholly owned by Sanymon Corporation Limited (CYP) (ACRA rating A-(RU), outlook Stable). Due to the absence of either structural or contractual subordination of the issue, ACRA regards it as equal to other existing and future unsecured and unsubordinated debt obligations of the Company in terms of priority. In accordance with ACRA’s methodology, to determine the credit rating of the issue, the Agency applied the detailed approach. According to ACRA’s calculations, the recovery rate for the senior unsecured debt belongs to category II, and therefore the credit rating of the issue is A-(RU), i.e. on par with the credit rating of the Issuer.
The Company’s credit rating is based on the very high degree of support from Sanymon Corporation Limited (CYP).
